DOUBLE LAYERED BOX FOR NOTE CARD SET!

Ok it's a continuation to my previous post that journal-ed about note card sets I created for gifting purpose....
Those cute note cards obviously needed a shelter to be exchanged manually.... hand to hand... So it could keep the feel of "Passing It Forward".... Just a sweet gesture when faced by such opportunities is what I believe....
So that's a look of those boxes I created... Took my inspiration from Posh Paper Lady of course.... Not my original to brag about... But yup, I tweaked the outcome & measurements to suit my senses beliefs & need CUZ AM STRICTLY A NO WASTAGE CRAFTER....
I have used up my scraps to the best of my ability & conscience for this project, like I do with all my others....
I have used up pattern paper leftovers... few cartons I saved from my daily needs.... few savings from RAKs.... some ready to be thrown wastage..... so on & so forth....
PS : When your note card is 3X3, then there is no need for you to waste anything more for its envelope & box, than what is basically required
The envelopes for the cards, could be used inside out or the other way round if using your design papers, leaving the plain outside to be stamped over with designs or images or sentiments OR as another option you can leave the print outside leaving the inside plain as is or with another design if the design paper is naturally double sided.....
And you could also make these envelopes even without an envelope punch board, manually with right measurements.... FOR THAT MATTER YOU COULD MAKE ANY SIZE ENVELOPE MANUALLY WITH FEW BASICS KEPT IN MIND.... Check My Blog Post HERE .....
As you can see, if observed, the size differed from the first box posted to the second... that was when I realized I was wasting too much paper uselessly, which could be curbed into minimal, by using just the lil you need... of course with a lil breather....
With everything handmade your are in for mishaps... train your mind to cope with them too in the due course.... That's evolving as a creative person....
TIT BIT : 1) Keep your expensive supplies for those special projects where you are gonna earn from your investments... But if you are not, then use up all the hoarded waste to MAKE THE BEST OUT OF THE WASTE, for that is the basic mantra/motto of creative thinking
2) Art Supplies are very expensive.... Hence learn to manage basics like a typical BHARATIYA who forever was skilled in making the best out of the wastage... BUY ONLY for professional assistance to help your projects stand out in the market to be sold... That would polish your lil brain to be used up being creatively ACTIVE than be slaves to machinery for literally everything
3) Make mistakes & learn to unlearn & relearn... In this project I followed my inspiration to make a single layered box... However due to my mistake with measurements going haywire, than throw the lid, I used it to back my project with a double layered base & created a fresh lid with fresh measurements

I had fun attempting this project... Once done it was more fun when the receivers were thankful for the same who appreciated the efforts.... 😊
