Back, to post about a lil
something I figured out I could do than allow the hard work of my husband go a
waste.... & it brings solace to my aching soul....
Lost my husband to covid
unfortunately when it was at its peak in the year 2021... With him I did lose
my everything.... however all that he left behind would always trigger me
feeling so hopeless.... Be it his clothes, his valuables, his belongings... so
on & so forth.... Tried using all I could & gave away what I could
not....
It was very difficult during
the initial stage for that is exactly where you try to find your loved one...
HIS BELONGINGS.... be it anything, it becomes very valuable as it connects you
to him...
He was into business which
means he left behind his huge pile of stationary too.... The brand stamps, I
could not reuse them... however his letterheads were the only thing I could put
to use.... There comes UPCYCLING into picture....
If any of you have
any other suggestions, am open to hear & indulge.... 🙏
Let's get to the post now....
I used few sets of his letterheads to make envelopes for thank you cards to the customers of the garment shop.... I was happy to be able to put my craft to use efficiently.... Receivers are happy.... What more can I be blessed with on behalf of my husband! 💝
So these are the papers....
Made a few tweaks & they were just apt for my envelopes....
Other than envelopes I used this stationary to make lil candy holders/containers too, for the lil kids who accompany their parents....
Both the parents & the kids go feeling happy, leaving us thankful 🙏
Happy Customers are sure to return in future... That way my husband's name & work lives to make rounds before my eyes....
The pain doesn't get better with time... It proliferates with age... cuz it is as you age that you constantly suffer the emptiness in your life... you just get on with life & its chores, keeping the pain aside while your busy at it... but it isn't possible to keep going being busy either.... It haunts when you rest which means there is no escape until your alive.... 😢
Nevertheless, something is better than nothing as they say....
