Mini Album with A Box Holder

Hello...

Been long of course.... Had been away for months & had been busy with life as usual too....

Nothing much to say....Just here to share a mini album I worked on as a gift for a lil girl on her birthday.... I quite liked it with its vibrant colors.... Hence loads of clicks too... 😝

It started off as a meander book... But as I proceeded I wanted to embellish it & eventually turned it out to be a mini album with pockets & stuffing's, though minimal...

Once the base is basic it is challenging to widen its existence cuz then it is mostly tampering the base ONLY to distort it than bettering.... Same happened with this project too.... 

Meander Book is a one sheet wonder made in an accordion format where pages are already stuck to each other with no real space for bulking or bumping in between... When such pages are stuffed unwantedly it loses on its shape & structure... And while you try to fix one thing the other goes haywire, making the entire project go amiss... 

There are flaws in this project of mine too... Doing all that I have mentioned above... :P

To speak the truth, I started off with another book but put it away cuz I felt I screwed it up... hence made another but managed to screw it up too... Yet did not give up on this one & continued till I saw an end... 

I had to pull off bulky embellishments after being adhered down... 😏 not sure where my mind goes meandering as I work at times.... 

After working on the album I later wished to give it a holder too than handing over a naked book...

And here for the already vibrant colors of the cover, I chose these two vibrant colors... one an Orange & the other a something between an orange & peach & pink & red... not sure.... Once that was done, I felt this was it... The vibrancy did not ask for anything more to shine... Those colors were charming enough to hold on to its essence....

Hence than embellishing the box, I chose to just give it a band to hold on to each other... I made them in contrasting colors & they complemented to the existing charm of colors through their flavors... subtly simple 😎

My flaws are mostly those that could have been avoided with a lil more care... but many times am in a haste to make something or finish it...

That brings us to the end of this project....

Few lessons learned... Many more to learn....

There are many more half worked projects that I ought to complete.... Hoping to do them soon & journal about the same too....
