Goody Bags for Return Favors!

Hello...

This was something I made the last month of the previous year... but since I had no video to its making I forgot to blog about it... Finally clearing my gallery am here to record it with its lil details....

The lil girl wanted some goody bags for return favors for her birthday.... her mom asked me if I could help & I obliged....

Told her we could simply put a few chocolates together & give them away... She liked it & I got to work.... I picked up few paper cups from the store along with few teeny weeny chocolates that kids would normally not eat as a regular.... the ones that are sour in taste.... I put a few chewy + candies + gems together into them....

Before doing so I cut off the outer circle or the rim of the paper cup & kept it aside.... I then filled it with the candies mentioned above only to fill half way through & not until the rim. Once that was done I just bent the leftover space of the cup towards inside... They covered up the mouth of the paper cup like over lapping flaps.... after which I picked the cut off rim & placed it on the inside of the cup & stapled it at both the edges to ready up the handle for the cup... then covered in the flaps again & sealed it with my logo sticker... giving it the safety that was required.....

I thought it was a simple project which had many tuts online... hence did not bother to make a video as such over it....

However, I used my lil scraps from stash along with pieces of ribbon for a bow with a note of thanks & a paper flower.... I feel extremely proud of self when I am able to use up my scraps too.... cuz I am stingy when it comes to paper... cuz I feel for the trees that led down their lives for them... So we as humans are obligated to them as to use them & NOT WASTE THEM....

The girl was very happy to enjoy them personally as well as give them away to her lil friends....
