Tiny Cadbury Bar Holder!

Hello...

September 5th is celebrated as TEACHERS DAY in Bharat & kids really get excited about it, wanting to gift their teachers with some goodies & wishes.... However simple they are, yet those gifts by these lil kids contains so much of their adoration for their favorite teachers....

A kid in my building wanted few such gift holders made for her....

One of the two was TINY CADBURY BAR HOLDER;

Not all the candies are of the same size & shape.... Hence it takes a lil more time when it isn't a regular to follow a standard set of measurements.... Making a draft first helps you in the process.... It stands as a guide further....

Much before, I took all the time to just decide on what pattern I wanted to gift wrap them in.... that is hell lot of R&D.... Everything seemed to appeal to me cuz this was something I tried for the first time.... Finally, I decided on this & had to stay up late to complete it...

On my paper trimmer I placed the Cadbury bar on the measurements... tried inches as usual but since they are placed wider, I had to then try centimeters & that was apt... small bar small measurements.... it's easier to figure out the main & the needs....

The bar measured 6x4 cms... & measuring up the paper size I just added 2 cms on each side... so the paper measurement was 8x11 cms.... & the scoring for the box obviously got to be same as that of the bar....

The design paper for the base of the box was simple & the lid was its contrast... Glittery & rich in colors.... as I proceeded with the box I was disappointed at the choice of paper of the lid as it was troublesome when I had to score cuz of the thickness of the paper & the glitter prints.... real thick made the scoring difficult... Yet I successfully surpassed it & then it was loads of cuts & trims to bring it to shape....

Then added sentiments... THANKS SO MUCH... TEACHER....
Added just a piece of bakers twine + rhinestone + punched lil butterflies....
And it was done....

Beneath is the video for the same....

Hope it inspires you to create your own lil version....

Thanks for reading/watching.....

UNTIL NEXT, KEEP THE FAITH!!!
