Single Pen Holder
Hellooooo....
Posting the other gift box I made for teachers day gift... It is a single pen holder... A simple & great gift box for just anything single & for just anyone...
Began with a draft box that guided me with the main project.... Followed another crafter on pinterest with the idea.... but she just folded the base of the box & glued it down....
I wasn't all that satisfied with the feel it gave me.. I wanted a lil better closure for my box.... Hence before beginning I actually did two drafts... one as she did which wasn't satisfactory to me.... & the next with my kinda closure for the base.... That gave me the boost to finish my projects just as I wanted....
As & how I went with the project, I have made a video too... Basically my videos are for my own guidance for am a lil more forgetful after losing him... I happen to forget things very easily & journaling things or recording things help me in my future works.... be it cooking or crafting.... I have something to refer to & when it is my own the understanding is better.... 😌
The measurements of the paper would be 6x3&1/2" Scored at 1" + 1&1/4" + 2 & 1/4" +2 & 1/2" & turn the paper anticlockwise & score at 1/4"..... Then at the 1/4" beneath cut the 1/4" at all scores & trim the ends too, to make it easier to adhere & tuck in the flaps....
Used a sturdy but colorful DP from stash of which the border was already punched for some project from the past....
I then finished the project with baker twine + rhine stones ....
The girl was happy with it.... 😊
& that made me happy with my efforts....
It's a simple project which can be easily achieved aby anyone with a lil care love & passion.... Hope it inspires you to give it a try....
