Recycled Box TO Book!
Hello,
Back with the finished product of which a preview was posted in my previous post....
However this post is gonna be really long with pictures of the project in the process/progress.... Ha Ha 😀 it's funny how both the words look similar sound similar & mean similar despite being different .... 😝
Anyways.... let's get to my project.... From Box To Book.... Recycling is so satiating when the outcome is satisfying to your nerves....
Well.... am trying to recollect something that I had thought of yesernite before I could wind up that I would share in my post tomorrow.... but unfortunately I do not seem to recollect now.... If I happen to do later at any point of time I will make it an add on here or connect this back to the new post I would mention that in....
So let us go ahead with the book now....
First it would be better if I could post in the pictures than the content.... so that it guides me in my thoughts than waste my time as a writer & you as a reader.... cuz writers can go on & on & on about just anything but readers have restrictions :P
To begin with it was just a throwable package box whose dimensions lured me to save it from the bin....
Cut open the unwanted pieces & retained the book like structure... it had a peekaboo in the front too & that was so satisfying for a book...
Cut the patterned paper accordingly & got my foundation readied up for the next....
It had a plastic piece adhered to the peekaboo part which I ripped off.... I wanted to make sure the window looked pleasing to my eyes before I covered it back.... Once done placed the plastic back & covered the opening....
For which I used up a lil from my piling up stash of wardrobe clothing tags.... With different brands & their uniqueness every single tag is a beauty & ONLY an illiterate of the craft would throw them away.... Whereas anyone into craft would find CREATIONS in them...
So I covered & decorated them to suit the page stack.... Used pattern paper + Some Tape + washi tape + printed die cuts + rub ons to give it the look I was okay with....
It's a masculine project that I worked on without many accessories as embellishments to adore the piece... Men like it simpler with lesser feminism.... obviously....
Good as a gift for a boy or a man who likes to keep things organized a lil...
Beneath is the video to help you with an insight to it....
